Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine diced apples, white sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into small circles.
- Place a tablespoon of the apple mixture into the center of each circle.
- Fold the crust over to form a pocket and seal the edges with a fork.
Baking
- Mix the egg and milk together and brush over the tops of the pies.
- Place the pies on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
