4 oz can chopped green chilies, drained

1 oz package taco seasoning mix

15 oz can whole kernel corn, drained

15 oz can black beans, rinsed and drained

shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a bowl, combine cornbread mix, milk, and egg. Stir in green chilies. Spread the batter in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Spoon the beef mixture over the cornbread layer. Top with corn and black beans.
Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Notes
Ensure ground beef is cooked thoroughly before adding taco seasoning.
