Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Pound your chicken breasts to an even thickness of about ¾ inch for even cooking.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Spread this mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
  5. Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with optional paprika or Italian seasoning on top.
Cooking
  1. Bake uncovered for 35–45 minutes or until the chicken's internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and tops are golden brown.
  2. Finally, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing or serving to maintain juiciness.
