Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease your loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together until well combined.
- Add the crushed Ritz wafers, chopped onion, shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix well until evenly distributed.
- Gently incorporate the ground beef into the mixture. Don’t overmix; just blend until combined.
- Transfer the meatloaf mixture to the greased loaf pan, pressing it down firmly.
Adding the Glaze and Baking
- In a separate small bowl, mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread this glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in your preheated oven for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.
- Once cooked, remove the meatloaf and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
