Preparation
- Prepare a Bain-Marie: Fill a small pot with 1/2 cup of water and bring it to a boil. Place a large heatproof bowl over the pot.
- Add the unsalted butter and regular marshmallows to the heatproof bowl. Whisk until smooth (2-4 minutes).
- Remove from heat and mix in the salt and red food coloring.
- In a separate bowl, add the Rice Bubbles and pour the marshmallow mixture over them, mixing thoroughly.
- Lightly oil your hands and shape the mixture into oval 'brains', creating a dent in the middle with a butter knife.
- Decorate with red food coloring using a toothpick to draw veins.
