Preparation
- Preheat your skillet or air fryer to medium heat (370°F for the air fryer).
- Cook the bacon until crispy, brushing it with maple syrup during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
- In a bowl, grate all the cheeses and mix them together.
- Generously butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer the cheese mixture and maple bacon between the slices of bread, with the buttered sides facing out.
Cooking
- Cook in the skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until the bread turns golden brown and the cheese melts.
- If using the air fryer, cook for 3-4 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Let the sandwiches cool for 2 minutes before cutting and serving.
