Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, soy sauce, egg, breadcrumbs, green onions, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything until well combined.
- Form the mixture into four even patties.
Cooking
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through. Once done, transfer the patties to a plate and keep them warm.
- In another nonstick pan, fry the eggs sunny-side-up over medium heat. Cook until the whites are set but the yolks remain runny.
Serving
- To serve, spoon a portion of hot steamed rice onto each plate. Place a beef patty on top of the rice, add a sunny-side-up egg, and drizzle generous amounts of brown gravy over the top.
