Ingredients
  

Beef Patties

  • 450 grams ground beef Fresh ground beef is recommended for best flavor.
  • 30 milliliters soy sauce
  • 1 count egg Use for binding the beef mixture.
  • 60 milliliters breadcrumbs Helps to hold the patties together.
  • 30 grams green onions, finely chopped Freshly chopped for flavor.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

For Assembly

  • 600 grams cooked white rice Steamed and hot.
  • 4 count eggs Sunny-side-up for serving.
  • 240 milliliters brown gravy Use store-bought or homemade.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, soy sauce, egg, breadcrumbs, green onions, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into four even patties.

Cooking

  • Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through. Once done, transfer the patties to a plate and keep them warm.
  • In another nonstick pan, fry the eggs sunny-side-up over medium heat. Cook until the whites are set but the yolks remain runny.

Serving

  • To serve, spoon a portion of hot steamed rice onto each plate. Place a beef patty on top of the rice, add a sunny-side-up egg, and drizzle generous amounts of brown gravy over the top.

Notes

Serve hot, ideally with a side of your favorite vegetables or salad. Customize with extra toppings like sliced avocado or pickled radishes.
