Ingredients
  

Beef Patties
  • 450 grams ground beef Fresh ground beef is recommended for best flavor.
  • 30 milliliters soy sauce
  • 1 count egg Use for binding the beef mixture.
  • 60 milliliters breadcrumbs Helps to hold the patties together.
  • 30 grams green onions, finely chopped Freshly chopped for flavor.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
For Assembly
  • 600 grams cooked white rice Steamed and hot.
  • 4 count eggs Sunny-side-up for serving.
  • 240 milliliters brown gravy Use store-bought or homemade.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, soy sauce, egg, breadcrumbs, green onions, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into four even patties.
Cooking
  1. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through. Once done, transfer the patties to a plate and keep them warm.
  2. In another nonstick pan, fry the eggs sunny-side-up over medium heat. Cook until the whites are set but the yolks remain runny.
Serving
  1. To serve, spoon a portion of hot steamed rice onto each plate. Place a beef patty on top of the rice, add a sunny-side-up egg, and drizzle generous amounts of brown gravy over the top.
