Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or plant-based meat.
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled For added crunch.
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 8 oz pasta (elbow or penne) Use any shape you have on hand.
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded Substitute with different cheese if desired.
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cooking the Meat
  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add the diced onion and continue cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the bacon, beef broth, milk, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer.
Combining Everything
  1. Add the cooked pasta along with half of the cheddar cheese, stirring to combine.
  2. Heat until warmed through and the cheese is melted.
  3. Remove from heat and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  4. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes
