Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 12 oz pasta (penne or your choice)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Method

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Begin by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions. Once done, drain the pasta and set it aside.
Cooking the Beef
  1. In a large skillet, heat the ground beef over medium heat. Cook until it’s nicely browned. Be sure to drain any excess fat for a lighter dish.
Mixing Ingredients
  1. Toss in the crumbled bacon, combining it for added flavor.
  2. Stir in the heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses into the skillet. Keep stirring until the cheese has melted and you’ve got a smooth, creamy sauce.
Combining Pasta
  1. Gently fold in the cooked pasta until it’s evenly coated with the cheesy goodness.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, finishing it off with a sprinkle of chopped parsley for a pop of color.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 to 4 days. Reheat gently, adding a splash of cream or water to restore sauce creaminess.
