  • 1 pound Liver (beef, chicken, or pork) Choose any type of liver based on preference.
  • 2 medium Onions Can use different types of onions for variety.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or oil For cooking.
  • 1/2 cup Flour For dusting liver before cooking.
  • to taste Seasonings (salt, pepper, and garlic) Feel free to experiment with spices.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Clean and cut the liver into thin slices for even cooking.
  2. Season the liver slices with salt and pepper, then lightly dredge in flour.
Cooking
  1. Melt butter or heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add liver slices and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned but still slightly pink inside.
  3. Remove the liver from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Return the liver to the skillet to warm it up and mix the flavors for another minute.
  6. Serve hot, enjoying the nostalgic flavors.
