Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry using paper towels. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of each chicken breast.
Cooking
- Heat the olive oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Place the lemon slices on top and around the chicken in the skillet. Add the pieces of butter around the chicken.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
