  • 4-5 pieces potatoes, peeled and diced Feel free to swap in sweet potatoes.
  • 1 small onion, chopped Add leafy greens during the last few minutes for extra nutrition.
  • 4 cups chicken broth You can use vegetable broth for a vegetarian version.
  • 1 cup milk Substitute with cream for a richer texture.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust based on personal preference.
  • optional chopped parsley for garnish Adds a pop of color and freshness.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large pot, cook the sliced kielbasa over medium heat until browned.
  2. Toss in the chopped onion and sauté until softened.
  3. Add diced potatoes and cover with chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. Stir in the milk and season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving, if desired.
