Ingredients
  

Chicken and Marinade
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Ensure even thickness for consistent cooking.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 unit Juice of 1 lemon
BBQ Sauce and Garnish
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Can be homemade or store-bought.
  • to taste unit Fresh parsley for garnish Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Ensure chicken breasts are evenly thick for consistent cooking.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and the juice of one lemon.
  3. Place chicken breasts in the marinade, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
Grilling
  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Remove marinated chicken from the fridge and let it come to room temperature for 20-30 minutes.
  3. Place marinated chicken breasts on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on one side without moving.
  4. Flip the chicken breasts and brush generously with BBQ sauce. Continue grilling for another 5-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Remove from the grill, let rest for a few minutes, then garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes
