  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup sour cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Adjust to taste
Flavor enhancers
  • 2-3 pcs jalapenos Fresh or canned; adjust based on heat preference
  • 1 tsp garlic powder For added flavor
  • 1/2 cup bacon bits Optional for added crunch
Garnish
  • 2 tbsp green onions Sliced, for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and shredded cheddar cheese until smooth.
  3. Stir in the jalapenos, garlic powder, and bacon bits if using.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into a baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden.
  2. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
Serving
  1. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
  2. Serve with tortilla chips, toasted baguette slices, or veggie sticks.

Notes

Best served warm; can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge. To freeze, prepare and store before baking, then thaw in the refrigerator overnight before baking.
