  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened) Softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup sour cream Greek yogurt can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 cup jalapeños (diced) Adjust quantity based on heat preference.
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded) Can substitute with Monterey Jack or pepper jack.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs For a crunchy topping.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste none Salt
  • to taste none pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, softened cream cheese, sour cream, diced jalapeños, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix everything until it’s well combined and creamy.
  4. Transfer the cheesy mixture to a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for that extra crunchy layer.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until it’s bubbling and golden brown on top.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
