Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter and mix in the sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs one by one, stirring after each addition.
- Incorporate the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then mix this into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and hot fudge sauce.
- Transfer the batter to the loaf pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool before slicing.
