  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder Can be substituted with dark cocoa for enhanced flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter and mix in the sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs one by one, stirring after each addition.
  4. Incorporate the vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then mix this into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and hot fudge sauce.
  7. Transfer the batter to the loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Allow to cool before slicing.
