Fudge Base
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter Can substitute almond butter for a nut-free option
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup Can substitute agave syrup for a different flavor
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder Be precise for the best flavor
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Toppings
  • 1/4 cup mini marshmallows

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Line an 8x4 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the melted coconut oil, peanut butter, maple syrup, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
  3. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  4. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared dish and spread it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle mini marshmallows on top, gently pressing them into the fudge.
  6. Place it in the freezer for about 2 hours, or until firm.
  7. Once set, remove from the freezer and cut into small squares.
