  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Adds savory flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil Enhances flavor with its nutty aroma.
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar Adds acidity to balance sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds For garnish.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced For flavor.
  • 1/2 inch ginger, minced Adds warmth and depth to the sauce.
  • Green onions Green onions, for garnish Chopped for freshness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, coat the bite-sized chicken pieces with cornstarch.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Carefully fry the chicken pieces until they turn golden brown and are cooked through.
  2. In a separate saucepan, mix together honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and ginger. Cook until the mixture slightly thickens.
  3. Add the fried chicken directly to the saucepan and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
  4. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top and garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
