Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Marinade
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 piece lemon (juiced)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced) Fresh minced garlic adds stronger flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste salt Adjust seasoning as desired.
For the Garlic Mashed Potatoes
  • 4 large potatoes (peeled and chopped)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter Adjust according to preference.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix honey, lemon juice, black pepper, minced garlic, olive oil, and salt.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the honey lemon mixture over them, coating well.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  2. Meanwhile, boil the chopped potatoes in salted water until tender.
  3. Drain the potatoes, then mash them with milk, butter, and additional salt to taste.
Serving
  1. Serve the chicken with garlic mashed potatoes on the side.
  2. Garnish the chicken with a slice of lemon or a sprinkle of fresh herbs like parsley.
