Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, self-rising flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the vegetable oil, beaten eggs, vanilla extract, honey, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Baking
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
