Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups pecans, finely chopped Chop finely for even distribution.
  • 1.5 cups self-rising flour Can substitute with all-purpose flour, adding baking powder and salt.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs, beaten Use room temperature for better mixing.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, self-rising flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt.
  • In another bowl, combine the vegetable oil, beaten eggs, vanilla extract, honey, and melted butter.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

Baking

  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store the bread wrapped tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days, or freeze for longer storage.
