  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg large size
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp ketchup for topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, chopped onion, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  4. Spread ketchup over the top of the meatloaf to add flavor and moisture.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  2. Let the meatloaf cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
