Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) or air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and milk. Let them sit for a minute to absorb the milk.
- Add the ground beef, ground pork, chopped onion, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon of ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme. Mix gently until combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan or form a mound in the air fryer basket.
- Spread 1/2 cup of ketchup evenly over the top.
Cooking
- Bake in the oven for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). For the air fryer, cook for about 30–35 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
