Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix together 1/3 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup warm water, 3 tablespoons honey, and 1 1/2 tablespoons active dry yeast. Allow it to stand until bubbly, roughly 5 minutes.

Mixing the Dough

  4. Allow the dough to rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Baking
  1. Shape the dough as desired, place in a greased loaf pan, and let it rise again for another 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  4. Remove from oven and brush with 3 tablespoons melted butter.
