  • 1.5 cups shredded sharp white cheddar Can substitute with a milder cheese if desired.
  • 0.5 cup finely chopped scallions
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
Garnishes
  • 1 cup Cranberries for garnish (fresh or dried)
  • 0.5 cup Pistachios for garnish

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded white cheddar, and chopped scallions, along with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until everything is nicely blended.
  2. Transfer the cheese mixture onto a serving platter and mold it into a tree shape. Don’t worry about perfection—getting it tree-like is what makes it whimsical!
  3. Drape cranberries and pistachios around the “tree” to create a garland effect.
  4. Chill the cheese tree in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes so it firms up.
  5. Serve with an array of crackers or slices of crusty bread for a crowd-pleasing appetizer.
