Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz pappardelle pasta
Meat Sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup beef broth or red wine (optional for richness)
Garnish
  • Parmesan, parsley & basil for garnish

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Sauté onions in olive oil until soft. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Stir in ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, broth (or wine), and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Cook pappardelle until al dente, then toss with the sauce.
  5. Serve hot with fresh Parmesan, chopped parsley, and a basil leaf.
