Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan to prevent sticking.
- In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, peanut butter, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and cocoa powder.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, stirring until well blended. Fold in the chocolate chips if desired.
- Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.
- Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
