Preparation
- Combine teriyaki sauce, pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil in a bowl. Stir well to blend.
- Place the chicken in a dish or zip bag, pour the marinade over, seal, and chill for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Grilling
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade, keeping the leftover liquid for brushing.
- Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, brushing with extra marinade as needed until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Grill the pineapple rings for 2-3 minutes on each side until charred.
Serving
- Dispose of leftover marinade that touched raw chicken.
- Serve grilled chicken topped with grilled pineapple, chopped green onions, and sesame seeds.
