Ingredients

For the sliders
  • 1 pack 12-pack King's Hawaiian Original Rolls Keeps the signature sweet base
  • 1 package sliced deli ham Use fresh-sliced deli ham for best flavor
  • 1 package sliced Swiss cheese Choose a good-quality Swiss for melt and flavor
  • 1.5 sticks unsalted butter, melted About 12 tablespoons for brushing the tops

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish or line it with parchment.
  2. Using a long serrated knife, slice the entire 12-pack of King's Hawaiian rolls horizontally so you have a bottom slab and a top slab.
  3. Arrange the bottom half of the rolls in the baking dish, keeping the rolls touching.
Assembly and baking
  1. Layer the deli ham evenly over the bottom rolls.
  2. Top the ham with Swiss cheese slices, overlapping slightly.
  3. Place the top slab of rolls back on.
  4. Brush the melted butter generously over the tops of the rolls.
  5. Tent the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the cheese is visibly melted.
  6. Remove the foil and bake an additional 3–5 minutes to lightly brown the tops.
  7. Let rest for 3–5 minutes, then use a sharp knife to slice between the individual rolls and serve warm.

Notes

If you prefer a sharper profile, swap Swiss for Gruyère or provolone. For a tangy glaze, mix a teaspoon of Dijon into the melted butter. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3–4 days.
