  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove it, leaving the drippings behind.
  2. Add the chopped onion to the skillet; cook until it’s translucent. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Toss in the chopped cabbage and continue to cook until it reduces and becomes tender—about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the butter until melted and incorporate the cooked noodles or dumplings. Mix well to blend all the flavors.
  5. Crumble the crispy bacon on top and give it a final toss before plating.
