- In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and set it aside, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.
- Add the sliced onions to the skillet and sauté in the bacon grease until translucent.
- Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and cook until wilted, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
- Once the noodles are cooked, drain them and add to the skillet with the cabbage and onions.
- Stir in the cooked bacon, butter, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is combined and heated through.
- Serve warm, garnished with parsley if desired.
