Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 40 pieces saltine crackers Can substitute with graham crackers for a sweeter twist.
  • 2 cups chocolate chips Use dark, milk, or white chocolate based on preference.
  • 1 cup assorted Halloween candies and sprinkles Feel free to customize with your favorite candies.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and arrange your saltine crackers in a single, even layer.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Stir this mixture until it becomes bubbly and well combined.
  4. Pour the buttery mixture evenly over the arranged crackers.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 5-7 minutes until everything is bubbly and fragrant.
  6. Remove from the oven and generously sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot toffee. Let it sit for a few minutes to allow the chocolate to melt.
  7. Use a spatula to spread the melted chocolate evenly across the cracker base.
  8. Finally, sprinkle your assorted Halloween candies and sprinkles over the top.
  9. Allow it to cool completely before breaking it into bite-sized pieces.
