Prepare the custard
- In a glass bowl, dissolve the custard powder in 3/4 cup of cold milk until no lumps are visible. Set aside.

- Add the Gulab Jamun Syrup to sweeten the milk.
- Lower the heat and gradually mix the prepared custard milk into the saucepan, stirring continuously.

Assemble the trifle
- Layer the bottom of a trifle dish with slices of pound cake.
- Top with some mango custard.
- Arrange a few cut strawberry slices against the sides of the trifle dish.
- Add finely chopped mangoes and berries on top of the custard layer.
- Repeat the layering process until you run out of ingredients, finishing the top layer with fruits and the halved Gulab Jamuns.
