Method
 

Preparation of Mashed Potatoes
  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks.
  2. Boil them in salted water until tender.
  3. Drain the potatoes and mash them with milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
Cooking the Beef Gravy
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the beef broth and let simmer for a few minutes until the gravy thickens.
