  • 1/4 cup butter For mashing

For the Beef Gravy
  • 1 lb ground beef Cooked until browned
  • 1 medium onion Chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced
  • 2 cups beef broth For simmering

Method
 

Preparation of Mashed Potatoes
  1. Peel and cube the potatoes, then boil them in salted water until tender.
  2. Drain and mash with milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
Preparation of Beef Gravy
  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until soft.
  3. Stir in beef broth and let simmer until slightly thickened.
Serving
  1. Serve the beef gravy over the mashed potatoes.
