Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 8 slices your favorite bread (Sara Lee Honey Wheat Bread recommended for its subtle sweetness)
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 medium bananas, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon sugar

Instructions
 

  • Start by spreading a generous layer of softened butter on one side of each bread slice. On the other side, spread a hearty layer of creamy peanut butter.
  • Place thinly sliced bananas on the peanut butter side of half the bread slices, then top with the remaining slices, butter side out.
  • Heat your skillet over medium heat. Once hot, place two sandwiches in the skillet. Cook for about 2 minutes on each side or until the bread is golden brown and the peanut butter has melted slightly, creating a gooey, delicious filling.
  • Transfer the cooked sandwiches to a plate and immediately sprinkle with cinnamon sugar for a sweet, spiced finish.
