Preparation
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, black pepper, and red pepper flakes, reserving 2 tablespoons of the sauce for later brushing.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them. Let them soak for 15–30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Cooking
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and place the fillets skin-side down on the grill.
- Cook for about 4–5 minutes on each side, brushing with the reserved sauce, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Transfer the grilled salmon to a plate, drizzle with any remaining sauce, and garnish with fresh parsley or chopped green onions.
- Serve hot alongside rice, grilled vegetables, or a fresh salad.

Once grilled, you can also enjoy the salmon with quinoa, roasted potatoes, or a light pasta salad. Make sure to marinate the salmon for at least 15 minutes for optimal flavor infusion.
