  • 100 grams sugar, or adjust to taste
  • 4 pieces eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder assumed

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a round cake pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and sugar, stirring until well mixed.
  • Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  • Gently fold in the baking powder until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

You can serve Greek Yogurt Cake plain, or with powdered sugar, fresh fruits, or a dollop of whipped cream. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for about a week.
