  • 500 grams Greek yogurt, full fat
  • 100 grams sugar, or adjust to taste
  • 4 pieces eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder assumed

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a round cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and sugar, stirring until well mixed.
  3. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  4. Gently fold in the baking powder until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

You can serve Greek Yogurt Cake plain, or with powdered sugar, fresh fruits, or a dollop of whipped cream. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for about a week. Tips include ensuring eggs are at room temperature, cooling the cake completely before slicing, and optional additions like lemon zest or vanilla extract for extra flavor.
