Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
- Prick the pie crust with a fork, then bake the empty pie crust for 5 to 6 minutes. Remove it from the oven and set aside.
Filling
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
- Add the honey, heavy cream, and salt to the melted butter. Simmer for 1 minute.
- Stir in the pecans until they are well coated in the mixture.
Baking
- Pour the pecan mixture into your baked pie crust and spread it evenly.
- Bake the pie at 375 degrees F until the filling is bubbling in the center and the crust is browned around the edges, about 25 minutes.
- Allow it to cool before cutting and serving.
