Preparation
- Combine the brown sugar, golden syrup, butter, and water in a saucepan. Heat on the stove and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Carefully pour the syrup into your slow cooker.
- In a bowl, gently mix the self-raising flour and lemonade to form a dough.
- Roll the dough into balls, about 4 cm in size, and drop them into the syrup in the slow cooker.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 60 to 90 minutes.
Serving
- Serve the dumplings warm with vanilla ice cream or a dollop of cream on top.

Notes
