Instructions
In a large stock pot, combine the peeled and cubed potatoes, chopped celery, chopped onion, chicken bouillon cube, water, and dried parsley flakes.
Season the mixture with salt and pepper, then simmer until the vegetables become tender.
In a separate bowl, mix the flour and milk until well blended.
Once the vegetables are tender, add the flour and milk mixture to the soup. Cook until the soup thickens.
Stir in the shredded American cheese and chopped ham. Simmer until the cheese is melted and the soup is heated through.
