Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta Feel free to substitute with your favorite pasta.
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese (grated) Use fresh grated cheese for better melting.
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk Whole milk is best.
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 teaspoons garlic (minced, approx. 4 cloves) Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it's bubbly.
  2. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until it's aromatic.
  3. Slowly pour in the chicken broth, followed by the milk, stirring continuously.
  4. Season the mixture with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning; bring it to a boil.
  5. Add the angel hair pasta and let it simmer in the sauce for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  6. When the pasta is tender, reduce the heat to low and gradually incorporate the parmesan cheese, stirring until it melts and thickens the sauce.
  7. Serve immediately, offering extra parmesan on top if desired.

Notes

For an elegant presentation, twirl the pasta onto plates and sprinkle with freshly chopped herbs like parsley or basil. It pairs beautifully with garlic bread or a simple green salad.
