Ingredients

Pasta and Sauce Ingredients
  • 8 ounces angel hair pasta
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 teaspoons minced garlic about 4 cloves
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup whole milk for the best flavor
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Once melted and bubbly, add the minced garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Gradually add the chicken broth to the skillet and stir to combine.
  4. Pour in the milk, mixing well, then add salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, if using. Stir everything together and bring it to a gentle boil.
Cooking Pasta
  1. Add the angel hair pasta, allowing it to simmer in the sauce for about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the pasta is tender.
  2. Lower the heat and start adding the grated parmesan cheese gradually, stirring as you go to ensure it melts fully into the sauce.
  3. Once the sauce thickens and the pasta absorbs some liquid, serve it immediately, topped with extra parmesan if desired.
