Ingredients

Steak and Seasoning
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-size cubes
  • 1.5 tsp steak seasoning (or a mix of salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Garlic Butter and Sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional) (for depth)
Tortellini and Cream Sauce
  • 12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder
  • pinch salt (to taste)
For Garnish
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Boil the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Pat the steak cubes dry and season them with steak seasoning. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steak bites in a single layer (cook in batches if necessary) and sear for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Add butter, minced garlic, and Worcestershire sauce to the pan, tossing to coat the steak bites. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
Cooking the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Whisk in the Parmesan, mozzarella, garlic powder, and black pepper until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  3. Toss the cooked tortellini into the sauce until thoroughly coated.
Combining
  1. Add the garlic butter steak bites back into the skillet and stir gently to ensure everything is coated in the Alfredo sauce.
  2. Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan to serve.
