Ingredients
Method
Cooking Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1 cup of the pasta water.
Cooking Sausage
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned and heated through, approximately 5-7 minutes. Remove the sausage and set aside.
Making the Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes, thickening slightly.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the pan, stirring until melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
Combining and Serving
- Return the cooked pasta and sausage to the skillet, tossing to coat everything in the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add the reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve warm. Enjoy the delightful blend of flavors!
