  • 5 cloves garlic, minced Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste Enhances flavor.
  • 150 ml chicken stock Can substitute with vegetable stock.
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper For seasoning.
  • 1/8 tsp red chili flakes Optional, for heat.
  • 1/4 tsp mixed herbs For added flavor.
  • 10 g grated parmesan cheese For serving.

Method

Preparation
  1. Boil the Pasta: Begin by boiling the pasta in a pot of salted water until it's al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Once done, drain and set it aside.
  2. Sauté the Garlic: In a large pan, melt 15g of butter over low to medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Add Tomato Paste: Stir in the tomato paste and allow to cook for another 1-2 minutes to deepen the flavor.
  4. Incorporate the Stock: Pour in chicken stock, black pepper, red chili flakes, and mixed herbs. Bring to a gentle boil.
  5. Combine with Pasta: Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing it to coat. Let it cook for approximately 1 minute.
  6. Finish It Off: Remove the pan from heat and add the remaining butter and grated parmesan cheese. Stir until melted and creamy.
  7. Serve It Up: Plate your pasta and top with extra parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
