- Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Cooking
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the butter and let it melt, swirling to coat the pan.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 20-30 seconds until fragrant. Don't let it burn.
- Add the seasoned chicken breasts. Cook undisturbed for about 4-6 minutes until the underside is golden.
- Flip the chicken and cook for another 4-6 minutes.
- The chicken is done when an instant-read thermometer reads 165°F (74°C) at the thickest part. Alternatively, cut into the center; juices should run clear.
- Finish by squeezing fresh lemon juice over the chicken and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
