  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted Use unsalted butter for better control of seasoning.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic will provide the best flavor.
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice Freshly squeezed lemon juice is preferred.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice.
  3. Place the scallops in a baking dish and pour the garlic butter mixture over them.
Cooking
  1. Bake the scallops for about 10-12 minutes or until they are opaque and cooked through.
  2. Serve warm, garnished with parsley if desired.
