Ingredients

For the Garlic Butter

  • 60 ml unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Main Ingredients

  • 6 large flour tortillas
  • 12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 100 grams shredded cheddar cheese
  • 60 grams shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, thoroughly combine the melted butter, minced garlic, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Set aside for brushing.
  • Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F). Lay flour tortillas flat on a clean work surface.
  • Generously brush one side of each tortilla with the prepared garlic butter. Evenly sprinkle crumbled bacon, cheddar, mozzarella, and chives (if using) over the buttered surface.
  • Starting from one edge, tightly roll each tortilla into a compact spiral. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the tops of the roll-ups with the remaining garlic butter.

Cooking

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes until the tortillas turn golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool briefly.
  • Slice each roll-up into bite-sized pieces and arrange on a serving platter. Serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 10 minutes until warmed through and crispy.
