Ingredients
  

Garlic Butter Mixture
  • 2 tbsp softened butter Ensure your butter is at room temperature for easy spreading.
  • 0.5 tbsp garlic powder
Sandwich Components
  • 4 slices bread Preferably Italian or French; choose the bread you love best.
  • 4 slices cheese Cheddar is a great choice, but feel free to experiment with your favorites!
  • Salt To taste.

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter and garlic powder until well combined.
  2. Generously spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
Cooking
  1. Place two slices of the buttered bread, butter side down, in a heated skillet.
  2. Top each with two slices of cheese, then cover with the remaining bread slices, butter side up.
  3. Cook on medium-low heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side, flipping carefully until both sides are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  4. Remove from the skillet, let it cool for a minute, then slice and enjoy!
