Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 1 whole onion
  • 2 whole carrots
Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces lamb shanks
  • 1 packet French onion soup mix
  • 1 cup beef stock Can use homemade for extra flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • as needed none Corn flour (for slurry) To thicken the gravy.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the onion and carrots, and place them in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Add the lamb shanks on top of the vegetables.
  3. In a bowl, mix the French onion soup mix, beef stock, tomato sauce, and Worcestershire sauce, then pour it over the shanks.
Cooking
  1. Cook on low for 6 hours.
  2. To thicken the gravy, create a corn flour slurry and add it at the end. Adjust the amount as needed.
